We seldom spend the whole day out for a date and today was a special day. Well, not really a special special day as in there's any special celebration going on. It's just that it doesn't come that much often because of so many factors. Not to seem like I'm complaining but it's kinda nice to have this kind of time once in awhile and not always. Unless I wanna make my boyfriend live in poverty.
Wow, how stupid and forgetful of me. We were actually celebrating Valentine's day but on another day. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Joey X Jack
P.S. I still can't really get used to his English name. I laugh and feel weird every time I say it.
It was a pretty tough choice for me to choose a nice place for lunch since there's so so so so so many restaurants outside of E-curve. The current me likes to eat mostly Thai and Japanese cuisine. It used to be western but I guess I unconsciously try to avoid them now ever since last December. It was actually my first time trying Thai Express, didn't know it was good or not as we choose that place randomly. There was another Thai restaurant nearby but we opt for this one because the other one didn't have any customer for that moment. I guess it's not wrong to follow a bigger crowd.
Please note that the ones with the is a recommended dish! A must try! Or else you'll regret it for life!
Thai Iced Tea, RM5.90
Ever since my trip to Bangkok, I've been in love with Thai tea. This reminded me so much of them and it tasted exactly like the ones I had there. Love it!
Yum Mamuang, RM8.90
Thai Mango Salad
!!!!! Can't stop nomming this salad once it was served! My favourite thai mango salad was the one in Johny's Steamboat but I think this is currently my No. 1 now! It doesn't have dried shrimps, and I like it that way. It would be heaven if they sprinkle more peanuts.
Tom Yum Talay, RM10.90
Tom Yum Seafood Soup
Don't let the colour of the soup fool you like it did to me. I used to judge the spiciness by the red-ish colour but never again. The soup was super spicy and sour! So much flavor and it was very appetizing. A great way to start before the main dish.
Hor Mok Talay, RM13.90
Thai Seafood Otah
One of my favourite food. It doesn't leave much of an impression on me. But never the less, it was pretty darn good.
Phat Thai Talay, RM15.90
Famous Thai fried noodles with Seafood
A little sweet, sour and nutty flavor. Salivating while looking at this dish. It was just okay for me but definitely go great with the Tom Yam soup!
Khao Niao Mamuang, RM9.90
Sweet Glutinous Rice with Fresh Mango and Coconut Milk
After all the good food, I think this didn't reach my expectation as the mango that was used has overripe and half of the mango was too sour.

We were lucky enough to choose this place to dine in randomly and it was a really great find as both of us was satisfied with most of the dish. I'm definitely coming again next time to dine-in!

The main point of the day. Dip n Dip has been recognized by a whole lot of dessert lovers out there, and I, of course can't pass up the chance to go to try it. After watching "The Journey", we went here for tea time.
The Journey was a really great movie, it is indeed life changing and I think it's especially true for those older generations since they will expand their view on things, become more open-minded or so. It's an eye opener. Heck, I even watched this movie twice and the tears just flow automatically. One of the best local movies ever made. The cast did a fantastic job too even though they aren't any big-time actors.Okay. moving on now...
I found some interesting pages in the menu. If you can't decide what you want to order, then this might help out!
Chose the corner seat to get this awesome panorama photo.
Flavoured Tea (Peach), RM6.00
Since we're gonna eat something sweet, I guess having a cup of tea might help wash away all the sweetness else I might get too sick of the sugar.
Caramel macchiato, RM14.50
Cafe latte with vanilla and caramel
Not recommended as you can get a better ones nearby the area (eg Coffee Coffea or Coffee Bean) with almost the same price.
Brownies crepe, RM28.50
Folded crepe, filled with brownies, and topped with 3 kind of chocolate, namely milk, dark and white.
Super love/like/adore this. Though after a few bites, I can't take the brownies anymore. Love the crepe and the melted chocolate! It was perfect as it is not too sweet but just nice.
Fondant, RM13.50
Chocolate rich fondant baked fresh, prepared from famous Belgian chocolate, served with ice cream, whipped cream, and topped with amazing chocolate.
I always expect very strong and sweet taste when I order chocolate desserts but this proves me wrong. Even though it is very chocolaty, it didn't feel like it was too much for me. Again, the chocolate they used aren't too sweet. Though, I didn't really like it due to my personal preference.

It's quite hard to find a place serving desserts like this. I'll definitely come again if I have chocolate cravings to be quenched. Definitely a gem. I hope they open another franchise near my house! Please open one at Sunway or SS15! Damn, I feel like rushing out of my house for this again right now.
